If you plan to use a physical joystick to control the Donkey Car, we highly recommend you to use Logitech F710 controller because unlike other controllers, it requires ZERO configuration and can be used right away.
Follow the instructions below to use the F710 with Donkey Car:
- Plug the dongle receiver to Raspberry Pi USB.
- Tap drive in the mobile app and select “Use Physical Joystick”.
- When using physical joystick, recording will start when the car move and it will stop.
- Note that camera feed is not available in the mobile app when using physical controller.
